Cleander Alparslan, Wemic Firemane

A native of the Forest of Amlar, Cleander Alparsian is on a mission. His pride decimated by unknown attackers one night, his kinsman have been scattered throughout the land. A specialty priest of Nobanion, Cleander was one of several emissaries sent by the village elders into the human world to learn more about the evil assailants and recruit potential allies sympathetic to the cause. Along the journey, he was attacked and held captive by these assailants. For months he was tortured and starved by these creatures. These unknown creatures never showed their true identity. They were bipeds covered in some sort of armor...always in helmets with two spikes on them. They only communicated with each other via hand gestures and grunts. They communicated with Cleander through violence, beating him into submission and performing experiments to determine how much torture he could endure.

He was released from captivity by a master wizard and several apprentices who came across Cleander in the woods with only a few of his captors. In an amazing display of magic beyond Cleander's understanding, the master wizard and his students brought about fire, water, and wind to defeat the captors. Exhausted from the torture, Cleander has little recollection of that fateful day. The master wizard then took Cleander back to the school where he nursed him back to health. Cleander will always be indebted to this master wizard and will ally with anyone who wears the symbol of his school.

Cleander is strong and proud of his tribe. He follows the ways of Nobanion and strives to find and join the Legion of Lions. This order of firemanes, clerics and crusaders may be able to help save his pride from the unknown enemy.

Cleander is very strong and wise. He primarily carries a spear into battle, although he will use a quarterstaff from time to time. He also uses a green shield decorated with a male lion's head and wears hide armor for protection. He has the following tattoo on each of his massive arms:

Looks great, man. Am I to assume that the school of mages that released your character is the same one that Matt's mage is from? If so, that could be quite convenient.
