So I'm getting pretty close to having a handle on the rules of play for the game and I'm going to shortly doing some solitare play to see how much of this I have right or not before I run any of you guys through this, but if you're game for this I'm posting a link to the rule book for Mansions of Madness here.

Peruse them at your leisure. The rules of play are not OVERLY complex, but it does take a bit of reading through in order to get the hang of it all. Also, while this IS a game based off of the writings of H.P. Lovecraft, having a super heavy working knowledge of his works is not a prerequisite for play. Its like the Drizzt books are to Forgotten Realms. Sure it's awesome to know more about the greater personages of the Realms while playing the games, but it's hardly what you would call a requirement. Each adventure is based off of one or more of Lovecraft's short stories or novellas so I can point any of you in the direction of the appropriate stories if you want.
