hehehe... one of the dispatchers brought in two pumpkin pies yesterday for everyone. At least half of ones still up in the fridge.
I have a strange premonition that it won't still be there monday morning

Re: The "Bored at work" thread
...Excellent question!
I'm a little confused on the subject myself. I think its because so many pumpkins I see actually HAVE faces cut out, that I've tricked myself into thinking they're ok.
That's my going theory anyways...

surely you are forgetting the applepie? Careful what you reply now as Patrick has a special place in his heart for those, and I do believe he holds your characters' life in his mischevous hands....

Re: The "Bored at work" thread
yeah, so lately when I'm "bored at work"(or rather, at home) I've been getting into all these little farming games on facebook. They are weirdly addicting and there are like a billion of them! I'm only playing three but man, it sure is fun to plant cyber crops that grow in the matter of hours, always in abundance, and give you excessive amounts of money. If only farming were that easy in real life!
Does anyone else have a favorite "past time" for those boring hours at work?

People get paid a lot of money to do this, you know. It's not as insane as you might think . . .
Or maybe it is, but the rest of the world seems to appreciate the insanity enough to constantly read it. Whichever you prefer!
Oh! But, if you're really good at writing stories about people that don't exist, you'll find that you can somehow make a living attending conventions where you just get to talk about those people that don't exist, and maybe read a "new" chapter from a supposed "new" book that's about those people that don't exist, but never actually have to write said book. I would suggest never getting caught up in this trap . . . people will hate you for it even as they await that "next" book.
Just sayin'.
