The Experience Thread
All right, well . . .
It's been hinted to me that there would be definite interest in getting these characters in for another adventure down the road (after the 2nd Campaign), and, thus, I've hinted that such would definitely be a possibility. That said, to allow for character progression in experience through the years, until that time comes, I'm willing to grant experience toward character leveling through stories thought out and written here. (It strikes me that some of you have chosen to go this route anyway, so I believe you should certainly get rewarded for the effort!) I understand that many may not have the time for this, and that's fine. Others have expressed to me a strong desire to try and get their character an additional level or two, however, so as to get their character to where they think of them as being. This is to give these players that possibility, if they desire.
In general, the XP I grant for these stories will not be given until story's completion (as that's when story bonuses are always given!). I will grant the award based on creativity and effort put into the story, as well as things fought and imagination in defeat. Do not, however, feel free to do anything just because . . . I'm pretty open about things the characters may attain through these adventures or events, and even about things that may happen to them according to the visions of the player behind the character--these characters are still semi-important as things move on down the line of the overall story though, and I must keep some control over the happenings here. As a rule of thumb, you don't have to tell me how stories end (I like reading them as much as the next guy), but if something should occur to significantly alter the character, or should you desire to put something of immense power into their hands, well . . . just think of this as an extension of the campaign, really. I am still the DM, and I have final say over things when all is said an done. You may feel free to giveth in such a situation as this, but I am fully within my right to taketh away!
Finally, though you all have fun with these characters, and may enjoy writing stories with them to your heart's content, please try and remember that the campaign currently on-going should take precedence. I'd hate to think that you robbed yourself of a good time in what we are presently doing around the table! So, if it gets to be too much, put these on hiatus before you put the character you are currently playing in the background role! This probably didn't need to be stated, but I feel more comfortable for doing so!
Most of all . . . have fun with it!

Therogean
For the 30th Uktar story, in which Therogean took place in the ritual for the City of Hope, give him 100,000 experience.

Therogean, Ashara, and Elric
For the 1377 thread that pretty much seems to be nearing completion, I am going to assign xp for it now so I don't have to worry about it anymore. If it somehow continues on to some other progression than what it seems now, I may assign more in the future.
Therogean: 25,000 xp
Ashara: 25,000 xp
Elric: 35,000 xp

1377, CoRD Strikes Back . . .
Okay, looks like this one as come to a close. I remember a couple people saying they'd like to make a final reply, but they've waited too long now to gain any xp from it, as I'm going to hand out the awards and bring it to an official end from that standpoint. Great job everybody for telling a fun little tale there (and unintentionally providing me with a fun new NPC down the road)! It was a joy to read!
Awards are as follows:
Elric
For combat, including the final fight: 68,000
For "roleplaying": 100,000
For completion: 100,000
Therogeon
For combat: 44,000
For "roleplaying": 82,000
For completion: 100,000
Thornton/Eddick
For combat: 44,000
For "roleplaying": 50,000
For completion: 100,000
Ashara
For combat: 15,000
For "roleplaying": 100,000
Story Bonus: 40,000 (For the time/effort put into developing adventure)
That should do it for this installment. Again, great job everyone! Look forward to the next go around!
