Resource: Elven Dictionaries

Post  Colin Marcus on Sun Nov 15, 2009 4:55 pm

Seems the best place to put this Smile

Since the question has come up about where all this crazy elven moon language is coming from, thought I'd post the links for others who want to have fun Smile

This is the Grey Company site that I've had printed up since the Longreach days. Always my favorite!

http://www.grey-company.org/Circle/language/intro.htm

This is the second place that seems to use the same words as the Gray Company, but has a few more words. Not as pretty, but still useful.

This is the online link to that same elven dictionary, I believe. Interestingly enough, it's the one I've been using for a little while now myself. As a shameless plug, I would like to note that the Grey Company featured here is a roleplaying guild in LoTRO! Very Happy

I remember preparing that whole speach for Dreamchasers funeral that was all spoken in Elvish! I think Josh got to translate it with the cheat sheet I gave him.

That was fun Smile
