I'm sure there will be journal's posted soon...
but the quick version....
Went back kiepers farm... he did NOT see any orcs to the north part of the woods...
learned Lord Palfrey owns the land, and by default, the keep with the bandits in it...
went back to birdmen... Told them one camp was dead, the other empty. They were happy.
Took one with us as a scout
Went to Lord Palfrey... Kid offered to tell us about the keep if we took him adventuring with us... Decided that was wrong. Old man refused to to tell us anything...
Birdman (blackbeak) scouted the giants... and when we decided to attack went and got 7 more friends...
We went back into falling rock cave, dropped a bunch of the piercers and took them with us to the hill to throw at the giants...
Birdmen dive bombed the sleeping giants... killing one big one. we dropped piercers on the little one as he came out of sleeping hole... killing THAT one.
Sunscorch to awake big ones FACE THAT was fun
Awake ones split up and ran up opposites sides of hill.
Little came up first... Died.
Big one came up next... Squash'd the paladin hard... then Died. Paladin was healed...
End Scene

Don't worry... they lose pretty easy, and even the other Elves don't like THEM...

Re: Exp Thread
/sigh...
Twice this week people have posted things in French... Which while it SHOULD be against the Forum rules... I'm pretty sure goes against the rules of being an American...
Justin decided it was French Dire Elves or something....
Things went from there...

Re: Exp Thread
Hey, I just take a vague concept and drive it up to the 42nd level of potential dialogue immediately. I thought this was common knowledge by now. French was how it started, then you took it to be that more people should post in elven, and then I just drove it to it's logical conclusion of french dire elves. I mean, it's pretty obvious...

Re: Exp Thread
any studded leather in there?
I also want to start trying to calm and befriend those dogs in the stales. I would have started this during the cleaning time if possible.

No studded leather, actually there are about 7 sets of regular leather though. And the dogs failed their save against you befriending them. They like food, and you too, although not in the same way anymore.

Re: Exp Thread
For defeating the Shadows of Gleaming Glade
500 exp each (700 for Nas)
For following the light and defeating the monolith orcs
200 exp each (Darya has bonus coming later)
200 more exp for Darya for destroying the evil magics! (see, I told you)
For the fighting of various creatures
2286 exp each
200 exp to Jace for jumping back into the fight like a lion (and as a lion)
200 exp to Jaya for finding most of her shuriken
200 exp to Turin for hitting with his axe and hammer in the same round
200 exp to Shoby for being happy like a gnome (when he has slaughtered many goblins)
200 exp each for roleplaying.
that is not all
I dont know how many gp you found in the glade, whatever the number is, divided by 6 is how many more exp everyone gets (round down please) I know it isnt much, but that combined witht the above totals, is all.

Re: Exp Thread
I can get you the xp that doesnt include the magic weapons you had identified. I dont remember all of them, and you do also get xp for treasure as well. But it will have to wait until later tonight when I get home and have access to my books. I probably should have made it more clear that I needed that info in order to make the final calculation, but last week was a busy week. I ended up working pretty much without a day off, and it was a bit taxing.
Anyhoo, I will throw up the exp later in this thread so anyone who wants can add that, if I dont have treasure info, I will just give you the story and fighting exp and figure the rest in later.
