Re: The Missing Thread
A good office story!
I used to work in an office complex where a couple other starter-up companies sat. Many of us were good friends across the companies, and we spent many long days in the cubicles. I always used to have some form of snack in my office space, and for a while I had a marshmallows crave.
When I arrived at the office one morning I found that the bag of Marshmallows I had at my desk was empty. I had a friend in the office next door who was particularly fond of Marshmallows, and sure enough my suspicions were confirmed moments later when I found the following picture in the empty marshmallow bag:
Now as you can imagine, I was quite horrified, and decided the only proper response was a decisive one. I knew what that man loved more than anything else in the office, and so the next morning he found the following image on his desk:
I added a note saying “ready for negotiations in neutral common room”
The whole thing resulted in a very memorable meeting in the commonroom where he brought a bag of candy to negotiate with. After some hard negotiations he got his precious girl back and I left with a quite a bit of candy for my office…
Ps: he is a 3D artist, so you can imagine the impact of loosing your specialized pc-mouse!

Re: The Missing Thread
Funniest Christmas decoration ever! Apparently the guy had to take this down because too many people stopped to try and help!

I love it!
The only thing better is if it had been dressed as Santa... Fewer people would have tried to help... STILL be hilarious to see

Re: The Missing Thread
Ok, loved the one about shopping, Rachel! I think I must be a nerd because I'm always checking the values and weighing my options. It drives Ben nuts!
The facebook one is good, too! Good on ya, Holly!
And Ann, if I were to decorate my house like that for Christmas I might get arrested...
