The "Bored at work" thread
I know I probably shouldn't be, but I am! So I find it vital to start one of theese threads!
I recall some glorious "Bored at" threads back in the days of starwars galaxies, though when we reached post 1000 it got deleted by an administrator. It was a dark dark day =(

But I'm a Mom...
*Sigh* what if you don't work............... I mean, being a stay at home mom is considered a job (actually full time work) in many cases but I don't actually get paid and i never really "leave the office". so... does that mean I can't post in this thread?

Of course you can post! A home-mom is definitely at work. Studying counts too

You don't need to get PAID to work! Sometimes just getting up in the morning is WORK!
Horray for flexible definitions!
Now we need a definition for "bored"....

Re: The "Bored at work" thread
From the free dictionary:
boring·ly adv.
boring·ness n.
Synonyms: boring, monotonous, tedious, irksome, tiresome, humdrum
These adjectives refer to what is so uninteresting as to cause mental weariness. Boring implies feelings of listlessness and discontent: I had never read such a boring book.

Ok!
So this means you can post in this thread if you are A) Doing SOMETHING, and B) Awake!

Re: The "Bored at work" thread
Nope! Unacceptable. Sleeping is not by established definition bored.
Though if you type this well while your asleep... we don't want to hear anything about 'not having time to write'

Doubtful, but the subject is still being researched. So far the results have been inconclusive, but we shall not yield so quickly!

Re: The "Bored at work" thread
There seems to be a trend in avatar changing, I am tempted to hop on the boat. Oh, and I was a little bored 2 days ago, does that count for posting now?
